madrigals

Madrigals is a year-long course open to advanced singers by audition only in grades 10-12. Students are expected to be the top musicians at UNI while continuing to develop advanced vocal and musicianship skills. Students study and perform advanced literature for mixed (SATB) ensembles. Madrigals perform at all choir concerts, IUSD Honor Choir, festivals, competitions, and numerous outside performances.

Vocal Eclipse is a year-long course open to advanced singers by audition only in grades 10-12.  Students study and perform intermediate/advanced literature for mixed (SATB) ensembles in the genres of pop, rock, and vocal jazz. Vocal Eclipse performs at all choir concerts, festivals, competitions, and occasional outside performances. 

Canta bella

Canta Bella is a year-long course open to intermediate singers by audition only in grades 9-12.  Students study and perform intermediate literature for treble ensembles (SSAA). Canta Bella performs at all choir concerts, festivals, competitions, and occasional outside performances. 

UNIson

UNIson is a tenor-bass ensemble for students in grades 10-12.  Students study and perform beginning/intermediate  literature for singers who sing in the lower vocal ranges. There is no audition necessary, and is the perfect class to sing with your friends and earn your VAPA credit for graduation. UNIson performs at all choir concerts and off-campus festivals.

University choir

University Choir is a year-long course open to all students in grades 9-12.  Students study and perform beginning/intermediate literature for mixed (SATB) ensembles. There is no audition necessary, and is the perfect class to sing with your friends and earn your VAPA credit for graduation. University Choir performs at all choir concerts and at off-campus choir festivals.
