University Choir
(pop, rock, musical theater, classical, standard choral music)
Entry level choir. If you are a freshman, this is the class you should sign up for. Bring a friend!
Open to all grades and levels of vocal ability.
No audition needed! Just sign up!
UNIson
(pop, rock, musical theater, classical, standard choral music)
Beginning bass choir. Open to all grades and levels of vocal ability.
No audition needed! Just sign up!
Canta Bella
(pop, rock, musical theater, classical, standard choral music)
Intermediate treble choir. Open to all grades by audition.
Acapella Pop Choir
(pop/rock with vocal percussion)
Intermediate acapella choir. Open to all grades by audition.
You must be a soloist with the ability to own the stage. You must be able to hold your part.
You must be emotionally mature with absolutely no drama.
Do you beatbox (vocal percussion)? Please audition and show us what you can do!
Madrigals
(collegiate level choral music: classical, musical theater, jazz)
Advanced mixed choir. Open to all grades by audition.
You must be able to hold your part and be emotionally mature with absolutely no drama.

Acapella Choir
Solo Audition
In addition to singing the Star Spangled Banner, please prepare one verse and chorus of one of the following songs: Chandelier - Sia Castle on the Hill - Ed Sheeran Rolling in the Deep - Adele Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi I will always love you - Whitney Houston Cardigan - Taylor Swift Just the way you are - Bruno Mars * You will sing acapella, but may sing in any key you like. Pick the verse and chorus that you like the best. I am looking for style, vocal ability, vocal power, and connection with the song. |
Group Audition Song
Pick the voice part that is best for you and learn it. Be really familiar with it for your group audition on 4/21. It does not need to be memorized. We will start at the top of the first page and end at the bottom of the last page with "that's Christmas to me." Please learn any part except the solo/lead line. If you beatbox, be prepared to both sing and drop a sick beat.
